Snakes are a common problem in the south eastern United States. It is not surprising to hear of snakes in homes and work areas anywhere in the two carolina's. Though most encounters consist of non-poisonous snakes such as black snakes, king snakes, etc., there is the occasional encounter with the Copperhead and even some sitings of Eastern Diamond Back and Timber Rattle Snakes have been noted. AJS Pest Control has had it's own encounters with snakes. A short time ago, Mrs. Mattick, the owner of our company suffered her pet being bitten by a copperhead snake. Though the veterinarian pulled little "Mary Jane" through, it was very very expensive and the end result could have been more heartbreaking. This episode prompted AJS to seek a reliable means of snake control, not only for Mary Jane's sake, but for the sake of our customers as well. After extensive research into the many different means of snake control, we discovered a monthly treatment which has proven to be extremely effective in excluding snakes from treated properties. We use a perimeter treatment with a completely natural product which snakes just seem to dislike very much. When applied, this product prevents snakes from crossing into the exclusion zone.
